Life begins with a great note, can it end the same way?

We are born and there is celebration at home & around us. On the canvas of life we expereince the ecstasies & the unbearables. Whatever be the curve of experience in our lifetime , the end of our life story is practically always a sad one or maybe even a tragic one. Never is it practically a joyful one. Can we reach a clarity about life where the story ends on a note of joy as it is in the case of the birth of an innocent life.
